ClearJSON is a helper for your AI that works with JSON, the text format many apps use to store and send data. It can format messy JSON, check it for mistakes, search inside it, compare two versions, and turn it into a spreadsheet or other formats. It is handy if you sometimes get a wall of JSON text and wish someone would just make sense of it for you.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to ClearJSON's JSON tools, so when you paste a chunk of JSON and ask a question, the AI can actually read it, clean it, search it, or convert it for you instead of just guessing.
What this MCP server does
You paste some JSON into the chat and ask your AI to do something with it, like format it or check it. The AI passes your request to this ClearJSON helper. The helper does the work on your computer, then sends the result back to the AI. Finally, the AI shows you the answer in plain language, like a tidy version of the data or a list of problems it found.
