Bilibili Trending MCP server

Lets your AI pull the current trending videos on Bilibili, with titles, links, views and likes.
This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Bilibili, the big Chinese video site. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI what is trending on Bilibili and it will go and fetch the list for you. It is handy if you follow Chinese video content or want a quick look at what is popular there without opening the site yourself.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This particular helper connects your AI to Bilibili, so when you ask about trending videos, the AI can actually go and look them up instead of guessing. You do not need to understand how it works inside; you just add it once and then talk to your AI as usual.
What this MCP server does

What it gives back to you
You get a short list of videos back in the chat. Each item shows the title, a link you can click, a short description, and the number of views and likes. If you asked for the top 3, you get 3 items; if you asked for 10, you get up to 10. It is a plain, readable list, not a file or a download.
Before you start
What you need
- Python 3.12 or newer installed on your computer
- The uv tool installed (a small program that runs Python tools)
- An MCP client that supports local servers, such as Cursor or the Claude desktop app
Good to know
It only reads Bilibili's public trending list, so there is nothing risky to change, but do not hammer the site with very frequent requests.
