Barker stablecoin yield MCP server
by YBSbarker · official
Ask your AI where stablecoins earn the most, and get live yield numbers, risk flags and ready-to-sign deposit quotes.

Barker is a helper that lets your AI look up live interest rates on stablecoins (digital dollars like USDT and USDC) across many apps and chains. It also gives your AI a ranking of the best options, some risk warnings, and a ready-to-sign deposit quote when you want to act. It is handy if you follow crypto savings and want the numbers pulled together in one place instead of checking ten websites.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service, and here that service is Barker, a live index of stablecoin interest rates. Once it is connected, your AI can ask Barker for current rates, rankings and quotes, then explain the results to you in normal words. You do not install anything for this one: it is a hosted server you point your AI at with a web address.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like where USDC earns the most right now. Your AI sends that question to the Barker helper, which looks it up in Barker's live yield index covering many apps and blockchains. Barker sends back a ranked list with rates, the size of each pool, the app and the chain, plus risk flags where relevant. Your AI then reads that back to you as a short summary or a table. If you want to actually deposit, Barker can also hand back an unsigned transaction for your own wallet to review and sign.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- See the top stablecoin yields right now, ranked by rate
- Compare yields across chains, apps and stablecoins
- Get a plain-language risk check on a specific pool
- Look at how a pool's rate changed over the last 7 to 180 days
- Compare stablecoin yields with US Treasury rates
- Get a ready-to-sign deposit or redeem quote for a chosen pool
- Check the current value of a wallet's position in a vault
Try asking your AI
- “Where can I earn the most on USDC right now?”
- “Show me the top 5 stablecoin yields on Base with low risk”
- “How has the Aave USDT pool rate changed over the last 30 days?”
- “Compare stablecoin yields to the current US Treasury rate”
- “Give me a deposit quote for 1000 USDC into the best-rated pool”
What it gives back to you
You get back lists, tables and short summaries in the chat: rates shown as decimals that your AI should multiply by 100, pool sizes, the app and chain, and risk flags. For a single pool you can get a fuller picture with rate parts, terms and rewards. For execution you get an unsigned transaction plus the route and risk notes, which your own wallet still has to review and sign. Nothing is sent on your behalf.
Before you start
What you need
- An AI app that can connect to remote MCP servers, such as Claude Code, Cursor or Cline
- A way to pay per call (Barker uses x402, a pay-per-use payment method, usually through a wallet payment tool)
- A dedicated low-balance wallet for payments, never your main wallet
Good to know
It can hand back real deposit or redeem transactions and each call costs a small amount of money, so always check the quote and the fee before you sign anything, and never use your main wallet for payments.
