AI agent for art directors
Mood and Style Frame Alignment Agent
A shared board where every piece fits the approved style or is a marked, approved break
What it does
On a team, everyone reads the visual concept a little differently, and the work scatters before anyone notices. This agent gathers the concept words and the approved style frames, and turns them into a short list of attributes such as palette, texture, composition and tone. It then scores each new piece from the team against those attributes. Pieces that score low get a specific note, for example lighting too flat or palette too warm against the frames. When the artist uploads a revision, it scores the piece again and checks that the note was addressed. The director approves what goes on the shared board. Edge case: a piece that scores low on purpose as a contrast moment can be tagged as an intentional break and goes to the director.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- New piece uploaded
- Load the concept words and approved style frames
- Turn them into scored attributes: palette, texture, composition, tone
- Score the new piece on each attribute
- Write a specific note for each low score
- Does the revised piece pass on the attributes that were noted? If not: rewrite the note with a clearer reference frame and send it back. Back to step 3.
- Director approves what is added to the shared boardThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Updated shared board with scores and notes
How it decides
A piece passes when it scores above the threshold on every attribute. A single low attribute gets a targeted note, and two or more get a send-back.
- Pass a piece scoring 4 or more out of 5 on every attribute
- Send back a piece with two or more attributes below 3
- Escalate an intentional break to the director
- Always cite a reference frame in the note
Make it yours
Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.
- Attributes to score
- Pass threshold per attribute (default 4 of 5)
- Who gets the notes
- How intentional breaks are tagged
What keeps you in control
It always asks you first
- Adding a piece to the shared board
- Marking a piece as an intentional break
Hard limits
- Never rejects work, only recommends
- Never alters an artist's files
It stops when
- Done: each piece passes or is an approved break
- Stop: the style frames are not approved
