AI agent for website developers

Web Content Translation Sync Agent

Keep every translated page in sync with its source, with verified text and rendering.

Web Content Translation Sync Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

A new product page goes live in English, and the German page still shows last year's prices three months later. This agent compares the main language pages with their translations and finds pages that are new or changed. It sends them to translation with a short brief and glossary. When the text comes back, it checks it before it goes anywhere near the site: broken tags and links, missing sections, placeholders, text length against the layout and terms from the glossary. Pages that fail go back to the translator with the exact problems. Passing pages are loaded to a draft, and the agent checks that each draft page renders correctly, with no overflow and working links. The editor approves publishing. Edge case: a German label is twice as long as the English button, so the agent flags it.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

A page is out of date if the source changed after the translation. A returned text fails if tags, links or placeholders differ, or if a glossary term is not used.

  • Count a page as out of date when the source changed after the translation date
  • Reject any translation with a missing or changed placeholder
  • Flag text that is more than 30% longer than the source in buttons and menus
  • Send only changed sections for translation, not the whole page

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Languages and translator contacts
  • Glossary file
  • Length limit for buttons (default 30% longer)
  • Schedule (default weekly)
  • Pages excluded from translation

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Editor approves publishing of each language

Hard limits

  • Never publish a page without approval
  • Never send confidential or unreleased content to a translator outside the agreed channel

It stops when

  • Done: every changed page is translated, checked and approved
  • Stop: the translator returns the same failure twice

An example run

What happensThe agent finds 6 changed source pages and 2 new ones. The German batch returns, and the checker finds one product page missing a price placeholder and a translated term that differs from the glossary. It returns both. After resubmission they pass. The render check shows one button label at 38% longer than the source, overflowing the layout. The translator shortens it, and the editor approves the German pages.
