StealthGuard 402 web scraper
Let your AI fetch web pages that block bots, clean them up, and check prediction markets and crypto trades.
StealthGuard 402 is a helper for your AI that grabs web pages which normally block automated visitors, turns them into clean text, and filters out sneaky instructions hidden in the page. It also adds a couple of crypto-flavoured extras: prediction market odds and a safety check before a trade. It is handy if you research sites that fight back against scraping, or if you dabble in crypto markets and want your AI to look things up.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to web pages that try to block bots, and to some crypto data sources, so the AI can go fetch things for you. You just ask in plain words, and the helper does the fetching and cleaning behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like 'grab the text from this page'. The AI passes the web address to this helper. The helper uses a tool called Scrapling to fetch the page while pretending to be a normal browser, so sites protected by Cloudflare or similar let it through. It then extracts the readable text, strips out hidden prompt injection traps, and hands the clean result back to your AI. Your AI then shows you the content or uses it to answer your question.
What you can do with it
- Fetch pages that normally block bots and get clean text back
- Strip hidden prompt injection tricks from web content before your AI reads it
- Look up live prediction market odds on Polymarket by category
- Spot divergence between prediction odds and on-chain price moves
- Run a pre-trade safety check on a token or service address
- Verify liquidity pool depth on Base or Solana
- Audit contract bytecode and sanitize project metadata
Try asking your AI
- “Fetch the main article text from this URL and summarise it for me: https://example.com/article”
- “What are the current Polymarket odds for crypto markets?”
- “Check if this token address is safe to trade on Base: 0x1234...”
- “Scrape this page with JavaScript rendering turned on and tell me what it says”
What it gives back to you
For a scrape, you get the cleaned page text, often with a short safety note about what was filtered out. For Polymarket, you get a list of markets with odds and divergence numbers. For the trade gate, you get a safety verdict, liquidity figures, and any warnings. Everything appears in the chat as text you can read or ask follow-up questions about.
Before you start
What you need
- Python installed on your computer (if you run it yourself)
- The Claude desktop app or another MCP-compatible app like Cursor or Windsurf
- A crypto wallet with a small amount of USDC on Base if you use the paid cloud version (the free preview gives you half the content)
Good to know
The cloud version charges small crypto payments for full results, and the scraper visits sites that may not want to be scraped, so use it responsibly.
