Central Intelligence MCP server
Give your AI a long-term memory so it remembers what you told it in earlier chats.

Central Intelligence is a memory service for AI assistants. Normally your AI forgets everything when a chat ends, so you repeat yourself the next day. This connects your AI to a memory store so it can save things and look them up later.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot keep notes between sessions. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, and here that skill is a memory. Once connected, your AI can save facts to Central Intelligence and search them again whenever you ask.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI something worth keeping, like a preference or a decision. The AI uses this helper to save it in Central Intelligence. Later, when you ask a question, the AI searches those saved notes and finds the closest matches. You get the answer back in the chat, along with the notes it used. You can also delete old notes or share them with other agents on your team.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Save a fact or preference so your AI remembers it next time
- Search past memories by meaning, not just exact words
- Auto-load relevant memories when you start a new task
- Delete memories that are wrong or out of date
- Share memories with other agents on your team
- Import your old ChatGPT conversations into your memory
- Audit your memories for duplicates and stale entries
Try asking your AI
- “Remember that I prefer TypeScript and deploy to Fly.io”
- “What do you know about my coding preferences?”
- “Load context for the auth system refactor I am starting”
- “Forget the memory about the old database setup”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in plain chat, built from your saved memories. When it searches, it also shows the matching notes with a relevance score, tags, and when they were saved. Saving or deleting a memory gives you a short confirmation. Sharing a memory tells you the new scope it now belongs to.
Before you start
What you need
- Node.js installed on your computer
- A Central Intelligence API key (the signup command gives you one)
- An MCP-compatible app like Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf
Good to know
Do not save passwords, API keys, or private personal details in your memories, since they are stored and can be shared with other agents.
Install it with your AI
Add Central Intelligence MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Central Intelligence MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who use an AI assistant every day for coding, writing, or project work and are tired of repeating the same context.
