Webhook Tester MCP server
by alimo7amed93
Let your AI create, list, inspect and delete webhooks on webhook-test.com for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to webhook-test.com. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain words to make a new webhook, show you what came in, or clean up old ones. It is handy for anyone testing webhooks without wanting to click around a website.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to webhook-test.com, so the AI can look things up there and do things for you when you ask. You do not need to know how it works inside; you just talk to your AI like normal.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like "make me a new webhook" or "show what came in". The AI passes that request to this helper. The helper then talks to webhook-test.com using your account details. Whatever comes back, like a list of webhooks or the data someone sent, is handed to the AI, which explains it to you in the chat.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Create a new webhook URL on webhook-test.com
- List all the webhooks you have
- Show the details of one webhook
- Fetch the payloads (the data) that arrived at a webhook
- Delete a webhook you no longer need
Try asking your AI
- “Create a new webhook for me on webhook-test.com”
- “List all my webhooks”
- “Show me the payloads that came in for my latest webhook”
- “Delete the webhook called test-1”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat: a new webhook URL, a list of your webhooks with their names, the details of one webhook, or the data that was sent to it. When you delete something, the AI tells you it is done. Everything shows up as normal text you can read and copy.
Before you start
What you need
- A webhook-test.com account
- Your webhook-test.com API token (a kind of password for apps)
- Python installed on your computer
- The Claude desktop app if you want to use it there
Good to know
It can create and delete webhooks on your account, so double-check before asking it to remove anything.
