AgentAegis MCP server
Lets your AI run security checks like vulnerability scans, breach lookups and compliance reviews for you.

AgentAegis is a helper that connects your AI to a set of cybersecurity tools. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI to scan a website, check if a password has leaked, or see how well a company meets rules like SOC 2 or HIPAA. It is handy for IT and security people, but also for anyone who needs a quick safety check without learning a new app.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to AgentAegis, a paid cybersecurity service. So when you ask a security question, your AI can actually run the check and bring the answer back to you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like "scan this website for common security problems". Your AI passes that request to the AgentAegis helper. The helper runs the right scanning engine, like nmap or Semgrep, or looks up a threat database. Then it sends the results back, and your AI shows them to you in the chat as a clear answer or list.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Scan a network or website for vulnerabilities
- Check if an email or password appeared in a data breach
- Audit SSL/TLS settings on a domain
- Look up details about a CVE or threat indicator
- Check how well a company meets SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS or NIST rules
- Scan code for hardcoded secrets or risky dependencies
- Vet an MCP server or agent skill before you install it
Try asking your AI
- “Scan example.com for common web vulnerabilities”
- “Has the email jane@company.com been in any data breaches?”
- “Check the SSL setup on mycompany.com”
- “What can you tell me about CVE-2024-1234?”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers, lists and short reports in the chat. For example, a scan might return a list of open ports or a severity rating. A breach check returns a yes or no plus which breaches were found. Compliance checks return a summary of gaps and suggested fixes.
Before you start
What you need
- An AgentAegis account and API key (the service gives you one when you sign up)
- A prepaid balance or a monthly limit, since most tools cost money per use
- Permission to test the systems you scan
Good to know
These tools can scan systems and cost money per use, so only scan things you own or have written permission to test, and keep an eye on your balance.
