Playwright MCP server
Let your AI open web pages, click, fill forms, and take screenshots in a real browser.

This is a small helper that gives your AI a real web browser to work with. Instead of just talking, your AI can open a page, click buttons, type into boxes, and take pictures of what it sees. It is handy if you often check websites, fill in the same forms, or want a screenshot of a page without doing it yourself.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to a web browser, so it can visit pages and do things there for you. You ask in plain words, and the helper carries it out in the browser.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI what you want, like open this page or click that button. The AI passes your request to this helper. The helper opens a real browser, goes to the page, and does the action. Then it sends back what happened, such as a screenshot, the page title, or a note that the click worked. You see the result right in your chat.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Open any web address in a browser
- Take a screenshot of a whole page or one part of it
- Click buttons and links by name or by text on the page
- Fill in text boxes and pick options from drop-down menus
- Hover over menus to reveal hidden items
- Run a small piece of JavaScript and read the answer
- Check the browser console messages for errors
Try asking your AI
- “Open example.com and take a full page screenshot”
- “Go to our login page, type my email in the email field, and click Sign in”
- “Hover over the Products menu and tell me what links appear”
- “Open this page and tell me the title and any console errors”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers, lists, and images in the chat. For example, a screenshot appears as a picture you can look at, and the page title or console messages come back as text. If it clicked or filled something, it tells you that the action was done. You do not have to open the browser yourself.
