Dare Video and Image MCP server
Ask Claude to make videos and images on Dare, paid with the credits you already have.
This is a small helper that lets Claude make videos and images on Dare for you, using the Dare account and credits you already have. You just describe the shot you want in plain English. It is handy for anyone who makes short clips or stills and would rather stay in the chat than click around a website.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, Claude can only chat. It cannot make a video or touch another website by itself. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives Claude a new skill, in this case a connection to Dare. Once it is connected, Claude can look up your Dare account, check prices, and start video or image jobs for you when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You tell Claude what you want, like a ten second shot of rain on a neon Tokyo street. Claude checks what the job will cost in Dare credits and shows you the estimate before doing anything. If you say go ahead, Claude uses this helper to send the request to Dare as if you had ordered it in the Dare web app. When it finishes, Claude gives you the link to your new video or image. You can also use this to check your balance, browse models, or look through your Dare library.

What it gives back to you
Mostly you get a link to the finished file, which you can open in your browser or download. For other questions you get simple answers in the chat, like a credit balance or a list of models with prices. When you list your library you get a list of past jobs with their status. If a job is still running, Claude can check on it and tell you how it is going.
Before you start
What you need
- Node.js 20 or newer installed on your computer
- A Dare account at trydare.com with some credits on it
- Your Dare login cookie from your browser (the setup wizard walks you through finding it)
- The Claude desktop app or Claude Code
Good to know
Generations spend real credits from your Dare account, so always check the estimate first and know that Dare does not officially support this kind of connection, so it could stop working at any time.
