MemoCall MCP server
by baodq06
Let your AI look back at your past Claude Code sessions and pull any one of them into the chat.

MemoCall is a small helper that lets your AI read your old Claude Code conversations and bring them back when you need them. Instead of hunting through files or copy-pasting old chats, you just ask, and it finds the right session for you. It is handy if you use Claude Code a lot and often wonder what you were working on last week.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you about what is in front of it right now. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to something else. This one connects your AI to your saved Claude Code sessions on your own computer, so it can look them up and read them for you. You ask in normal words, and the helper goes and fetches what you need.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like what you were working on recently. The AI passes that request to MemoCall, which quietly reads the session files Claude Code already saved on your machine. MemoCall tidies each conversation into short, readable Markdown, leaving out the noisy tool output. Then your AI shows you the result in the chat, or pulls one full session in so you can keep working from it.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List your recent sessions across all projects, grouped by folder
- Search past sessions by keyword to find the right conversation
- Load a whole session as compact Markdown by name or id
- Get a numbered outline of every prompt in a long session
- Jump to specific turns inside one session by number range
- Search inside a single session for a keyword
Try asking your AI
- “What sessions have I worked on recently?”
- “Load the one where we set up the license invitation system”
- “Which session did we debug the keychain crash in?”
- “Show me the outline of that big session from last month”
What it gives back to you
You get back a short, readable version of the conversation, with your prompts and Claude's replies and a note of how many tool calls happened in each turn. For big sessions you can get a numbered outline first, then load just the turns you care about. Everything shows up right in the chat as plain text.
Before you start
What you need
- The Claude Code CLI installed
- Node.js 18 or newer
- Claude Code sessions saved on your computer (this happens automatically)
Good to know
Loaded transcripts can contain secrets like tokens or keys, so treat anything it brings back the same way you would the original conversation.
Install it with your AI
Add MemoCall MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check MemoCall MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who use Claude Code often and want to look back at or reuse their earlier conversations.
