Financial Evidence MCP server
by beepboop2025
Lets your AI pull dated public evidence on funding, banks and market liquidity, with sources kept separate.
This is a small helper that connects your AI to four public research sources about money markets, banks, market liquidity and the Chinese economy. It is made for people who want cited, dated answers rather than loose claims. If you read or write about funding stress, bank risk or market depth, it is worth a look.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill or one new connection. This server connects your AI to a set of public financial evidence services called Seiche, LiquiLens, Undertow and Palimpsest. Once it is connected, your AI can go and look things up there for you when you ask. You do not need an account or a key for the public read-only parts.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about funding, banks, market liquidity or the Chinese economy. Your AI sends that question to this helper. The helper goes to the right public source among the four and pulls back the matching evidence. It keeps the source dates, the parts it could not get, and any rights limits clearly separate. You then get an answer in the chat with the sources listed next to it.
What you can do with it
- Check which US funding events are coming up next, with dates
- Pull covered bank and lender evidence on a named institution
- Look at market depth and how concentrated the providers are
- Estimate exit liquidity for a position size you choose
- Follow China economy evidence that keeps track of revisions
- Compare source dates and spot data that is missing or overdue
- Run the same review again next week and see what changed
Try asking your AI
- “What is the current US funding stress regime, and which dated funding events are next? Cite source dates and missing evidence.”
- “Pull the latest covered bank evidence for one large US lender and list the source dates.”
- “How deep is the market for a position of about 100k in BTC, and what providers are involved?”
- “Show me recent China economy evidence and note anything that has been revised.”
What it gives back to you
You get back a short written answer plus the underlying evidence, with each source date shown. Anything the helper could not fetch is listed separately rather than guessed at. Tables, briefs and file downloads like CSV, XLSX or ODS are also possible through the wider toolkit. The chat stays clear about what is known and what is missing.
Before you start
What you need
- The Claude desktop app, Claude Code, or another tool that supports MCP servers
- Python 3.10 or newer if you install the local Python package
- Nothing else for the public read-only tools; no account or key is needed
Good to know
It only reads public information and does not place trades, but it will not verify or endorse the evidence for you, so always check the source dates and the parts it says are missing.
