Citedy SEO Agent is a helper you add to your AI assistant so it can do marketing work, not just chat about it. It can look at what is trending, study other websites, write articles, and post them to places like LinkedIn and X. What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only talk with you. It cannot see what is trending today or post anything to your accounts. An MCP server (or in this case, a skill you add to your AI) is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. Here, it connects your AI to Citedy, a marketing platform, so your AI can research, write, and publish for you when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like find what is trending on Reddit about coffee, or write me a blog post about home workouts. Your AI passes that request to the Citedy helper. The helper talks to the Citedy platform, which does the research, writing, or publishing. Then the answer comes back into your chat, as a draft article, a list of trends, or a note saying it posted for you.
