BlogBurst is a service that writes marketing content for you: blog posts, social media posts, and more. This MCP server is the bridge that lets your AI assistant talk to BlogBurst directly. It is handy if you write content for social media or a blog and want help coming up with ideas, adapting posts for each platform, and even scheduling them.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to BlogBurst, so when you ask for a blog post or a set of tweets, your AI can actually go and get them made for you. You stay in the chat; the helper does the running around.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like write a blog post about remote work, or turn this article into tweets. Your AI passes that request to this helper, which sends it to BlogBurst. BlogBurst writes the content and sends it back. Your AI then shows it to you in the chat, ready to copy, edit, or publish. If you have connected your social accounts, it can also post the content for you.

What you can do with it

  • Write a full blog post from a topic you give it
  • Turn a link or a block of text into social media posts
  • Create posts tailored to each platform, like Twitter, LinkedIn, or TikTok
  • Find trending topics in your niche from sources like Reddit and Google Trends
  • Brainstorm titles back and forth with the AI
  • Publish directly to Bluesky, Telegram, or Discord
  • Set up auto-pilot to post on a schedule and check how your posts did

Try asking your AI

  • “Write a blog post about remote work productivity”
  • “Turn this article into Twitter and LinkedIn posts: https://example.com/article”
  • “What's trending in AI right now?”
  • “Turn on auto-pilot, 3 posts per day on Bluesky and Twitter”
  • “How did my posts perform this week?”

What it gives back to you

You get the actual content back in your chat: a finished blog post, a set of social posts for each platform, a list of trending topics, or title ideas. If you ask about performance, you get numbers and a short summary of how your posts did. If you publish or turn on auto-pilot, you get a confirmation that it happened.

Before you start

What you need

  • A BlogBurst account (free plan gives 50 generations a month)
  • A BlogBurst API key from your dashboard (a kind of password for apps)
  • The Claude desktop app or another AI app that supports MCP servers
  • Connected social accounts if you want it to publish for you

Good to know

If you turn on auto-pilot or ask it to publish, it will actually post to your connected social accounts, so double-check your settings before you switch it on.
