ComplyEaze Bridge for TallyPrime
by ComplyEaze
Ask your AI about your TallyPrime books, and prepare vouchers you review before anything is posted.
ComplyEaze Bridge connects Claude Desktop to the TallyPrime running on your own computer. It is made for chartered accountants, CA firms and accountants who want to ask questions about their books in plain words. It reads from TallyPrime and can prepare voucher files for you, but it does not change your books unless you turn posting on and approve each voucher yourself.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI assistant can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your assistant a new skill, in this case a connection to the TallyPrime on your computer. Once ComplyEaze Bridge is installed, your assistant can look things up in your books, like the trial balance or outstanding receivables, when you ask. It runs on your own machine and talks to Tally's own local gateway.
What this MCP server does
You ask your assistant a question about your books, for example the trial balance for a period. The assistant sends that request to ComplyEaze Bridge, which is running on your computer. The bridge talks to the TallyPrime on your machine and gets the figures back. Your assistant then shows you the answer in the chat. For vouchers, the bridge can prepare an import file on your computer that you review and import into TallyPrime yourself.
What you can do with it
- List the companies loaded in TallyPrime
- Show the trial balance for a date range
- Show outstanding receivables and payables with ageing
- Show the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet for a period
- Check ledger names against the live book before you post
- Read a password-protected SBI, HDFC or Union Bank of India statement PDF and propose vouchers
- Prepare a Journal, Payment, Receipt or Contra import file for you to review
Try asking your AI
- “List the loaded companies.”
- “Show the outstanding receivables and payables, with ageing, as of 31 March.”
- “Show the trial balance for 1 April to 31 March.”
- “Check these ledger names against the book before I post: ...”
What it gives back to you
You get the answer in the chat, usually as a list or a table of figures, for example ledgers with their closing balances or parties with their outstanding amounts. When it prepares vouchers, it writes an import file on your computer and tells you where it is. It can also read back a batch you imported by hand and show you what landed. Every tool call leaves a receipt line, with no figures, in a log on your computer.
Before you start
What you need
- Claude Desktop installed on your computer
- TallyPrime running on the same computer, with its gateway reachable
- A Windows x64 PC or an Apple Silicon Mac (this release is built for those only)
- You must accept the ComplyEaze Bridge Terms of Use in the extension settings before any tool will work
Good to know
What your assistant reads from your books goes to your AI provider as part of the chat, including names, amounts and sometimes PAN, bank account numbers and contact details, so think carefully before using it with client data.
Install it with your AI
Add ComplyEaze Bridge for TallyPrime to your AI, no technical skills needed
