Rendex MCP server
Turn web pages, HTML, or Markdown into images, PDFs, and share links right from your AI chat.

Rendex is a service that takes a web page, some HTML, or some Markdown and turns it into a picture or a PDF. This MCP server connects that service to your AI assistant, so you can just ask for a screenshot or a PDF in plain words. It is handy if you often need to save pages, make reports, or create shareable images without leaving the chat.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot reach out and grab a picture of a website or make a PDF. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill. This one connects your AI to Rendex, so when you ask for a screenshot or a PDF, the AI passes your request to Rendex and brings the result back to you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like 'take a screenshot of this page' or 'turn this Markdown into a PDF'. The AI uses this helper to send the request to Rendex. Rendex opens the page in a real browser, waits for it to load, and takes the picture or builds the PDF. Then it sends the file or a link back, and your AI shows it to you in the chat.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Take a screenshot of any web page as PNG, JPEG, or WebP
- Turn a web page into a PDF with page size and margins you choose
- Render raw HTML or Markdown into an image or PDF
- Capture a page as it would look in another country
- Extract just the readable article text from a page
- Create a hosted image link you can drop into a website
- Make a branded PDF or PNG with your logo and colors
- Watch a page and get told when it changes
Try asking your AI
- “Take a screenshot of https://example.com”
- “Turn this Markdown report into a branded PDF with our logo”
- “Extract the article text from this page as Markdown”
- “Watch https://example.com/pricing and tell me when it changes”
What it gives back to you
Depending on what you ask, you get back an image file, a PDF, or a link to a hosted copy. For text extraction, you get clean Markdown or structured JSON. For watches, you get a summary of changes with before and after links. Everything shows up right in your chat.
