Litescope MCP server
by croc100
Let your AI inspect, query, and safely change SQLite databases, including Cloudflare D1 and Turso.

Litescope is a helper program that connects your AI to SQLite databases. SQLite is a simple kind of database that lives in a single file, and it is used by many apps and websites. This is handy if you work with Cloudflare D1, Turso, or local database files and want your AI to look things up or make careful changes for you.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to SQLite databases, including Cloudflare D1 and Turso, so it can look things up or make changes when you ask. Think of it as giving your AI a pair of hands for your databases.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about your database, like what tables exist or how many users are inactive. The AI uses Litescope to talk to the database and get the answer. Litescope can also show you what a change would do before it happens, and it can undo a change if something goes wrong. It works with local database files, Cloudflare D1, and Turso.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List your Cloudflare D1 databases
- Show the structure of a table
- Run a read-only query to get data
- Check a database for problems like corruption or bloat
- Compare two databases and show the differences
- Plan a migration and see what it would change
- Safely apply a change and undo it if needed
Try asking your AI
- “List my D1 databases”
- “Show me the schema of the users table in d1://abc-123”
- “Delete every inactive user from d1://prod-db-id”
- “Diff my local dev.db against d1://prod-db-id and show me the migration SQL”
What it gives back to you
You get clear answers in the chat, like lists of databases, table structures, query results, health reports, or migration plans. When you ask for a change, Litescope first shows you exactly what would be affected, and if you approve, it makes the change and gives you a way to undo it. It can also return interactive panels for some tasks, like a lock doctor or a health check.
Before you start
What you need
- Litescope installed on your computer (see the install instructions)
- For Cloudflare D1: a Cloudflare API token and account ID
- For Turso: a Turso token and organization name
- An MCP client like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or Cursor
Good to know
Write tools are off by default and every change is dry-run first, but if you enable writes, the AI can modify or delete data, so always review the dry-run before approving.
Install it with your AI
Add Litescope MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Litescope MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
Developers, database administrators, and anyone who works with SQLite databases and wants an AI to help inspect or manage them safely.
