Zipp crypto news MCP server
by deficlow
Lets your AI pull crypto news in 8 languages, with sentiment labels, importance scores, and source credits.

Zipp is a news service for crypto, blockchain, and Web3 stories. This MCP server connects your AI assistant to Zipp so it can look up recent headlines, breaking stories, and full articles for you. It is handy if you follow crypto news and want your AI to bring you a quick, labelled summary instead of you scrolling through sites.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI one extra skill or connection. This one connects your AI to Zipp, a crypto news service. Once connected, when you ask about crypto news, your AI can go ask Zipp and bring back real, recent stories for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like what is breaking in crypto right now. Your AI passes that request to the Zipp helper. The helper talks to the Zipp news service, which searches its stories and picks the matching ones. Zipp sends back headlines, short summaries, a sentiment label, an importance score, and the original publisher. Your AI shows you the result in the chat, in the language you asked for.

- Read editor-picked highlights for the day
- Open a full article with its body, categories, and hashtags
- Browse the list of news categories
- Ask for any of this in one of 8 languages
Try asking your AI
- “What's breaking in crypto right now?”
- “Search Zipp for Bitcoin ETF inflows in Turkish.”
- “Show me the latest Web3 news from the past day.”
- “Give me the editor's featured crypto stories today.”
What it gives back to you
You get a list of news items in the chat. Each one has a title, a short summary, a sentiment label (BULLISH, NEUTRAL, or BEARISH), an importance score from 0 to 100, and the name and link of the original publisher. If you open a single story, you also get the full article text, its categories, and hashtags. Your AI can then summarise or compare them for you.
