Cloudflare MCP server
Lets your AI look after your Cloudflare setup: DNS, websites, Workers, storage and security, with your approval before any change.

This is a helper for people who run websites or apps on Cloudflare. It lets your AI assistant see and manage your Cloudflare account for you, in plain chat. Handy if you keep a few domains, a small site, or a side project on Cloudflare and don't want to click around the dashboard every time.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot open Cloudflare or change anything there. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, here a connection to your Cloudflare account. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI things like "what DNS records do I have?" and it will go and check for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about your Cloudflare account, like listing your domains or checking a DNS record. The AI passes that request to this helper program running on your computer. The helper talks to Cloudflare using a special password called an API token that you set up once. Cloudflare sends the answer back, and your AI shows it to you in the chat. If you ask for a change, like adding a DNS record, the helper first shows you a preview and waits for your yes before doing anything.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List your domains, DNS records and website settings
- Add, change or remove DNS records
- Check your SSL and security settings
- Look at your Workers, storage buckets and databases
- See your email routing rules and destinations
- Purge your website cache
- Ask Workers AI models a question or get text embeddings
Try asking your AI
- “List all my zones on Cloudflare”
- “Show me the DNS records for example.com”
- “What is my current SSL mode for example.com?”
- “Add an A record for blog.example.com pointing to 203.0.113.10”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat: lists of domains, DNS records, settings, or short summaries. When you ask for a change, you first get a preview showing what would happen, with any secret values hidden. After you approve, the helper makes the change and tells you it is done. Numbers and details come back as plain text you can read.
Before you start
What you need
- A Cloudflare account
- An API token from Cloudflare (a kind of password for apps; you create it in your Cloudflare profile)
- Node.js installed on your computer
- The Claude desktop app or Claude Code, so you can add the server
Good to know
It can change or delete real things in your Cloudflare account, like DNS records or whole domains, so always read the preview carefully before you approve.
Install it with your AI
Add Cloudflare MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Cloudflare MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who run websites or small apps on Cloudflare and want to check or change things by chatting instead of clicking through the dashboard.
