Odoo MCP server

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Odoo, the system many companies use to track customers, products, invoices, and orders. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI questions about your Odoo data or ask it to make changes, and it will do the work for you. It is handy for anyone who already uses Odoo at work and wants a faster way to find and update things.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something in plain words, like how many orders came in this month. The AI passes that request to this helper program. The helper then talks to your Odoo system using your login details. Odoo sends back the records or numbers, and the helper hands them to the AI. The AI then shows you a clean answer right in the chat.

What you can do with it

• Search for customers, products, invoices, or any other record in Odoo
• Create new records, like a new customer or a new order
• Update details on existing records, such as a phone number or a price
• Delete records you no longer need
• Count how many records match a condition, like unpaid invoices this month
• See what fields a type of record has, so you know what you can fill in
• Run business actions, like posting an invoice or confirming a sales order

What it gives back to you

You get answers in the chat, usually as a short list or a summary. For example, a search might come back as a tidy list of names, emails, and totals. A count comes back as a single number. If you asked it to create or update something, it tells you what it changed and on which record.
