Junipr MCP server
by junipr-labs
Let your AI take screenshots, make PDFs, and pull details from web pages for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Junipr, a web service that can look at web pages and turn them into pictures, PDF files, or tidy bits of information. It is handy if you often need a screenshot of a site, a PDF of an article, or the title and description of a page without clicking around yourself.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Junipr, a web service that can visit pages and do things like take screenshots or make PDFs. Once it is set up, you just ask in plain words and your AI uses Junipr behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like take a screenshot of this page or turn this article into a PDF. Your AI passes the request to this helper, which talks to Junipr over the internet. Junipr visits the page, does the work, and sends back the result. Your AI then shows it to you in the chat, for example a picture, a file, or a short list of details about the page.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Take a screenshot of any web page
- Save a web page as a PDF file
- Pull the title, description, and preview info from a page
- Capture the full length of a long page, not just the top
- Take screenshots as they would look on a phone or tablet
- Run other Junipr web tools like scrapers and validators
Try asking your AI
- “Take a screenshot of our homepage and show it to me”
- “Turn this news article into a PDF I can save”
- “What is the title and description of this page?”
- “Grab the preview image and summary for this link”
What it gives back to you
You get back whatever you asked for: an image file, a PDF file, or a short block of text with details like the page title, description, and preview image. Your AI shows these in the chat, and files can usually be saved or downloaded from there. For screenshots and PDFs you see the actual picture or document, not just a description of it.
Before you start
What you need
- A free Junipr account and API key from junipr.io (the site gives you one, with 500 free credits a month)
- Node.js installed on your computer (the free software that runs the helper)
- An AI app that supports MCP servers, like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, or Windsurf
Good to know
Each request uses up some of your Junipr credits, so heavy use can eat into your monthly free allowance.
Install it with your AI
