Event Presence Index MCP server
by mambalabsdev
Ask your AI which conferences and trade shows a company says it attends, with the year of each.

This is a small helper that lets your AI look up the events a company publicly says it goes to. You give it a company website address, and it comes back with a list of third party conferences and trade shows, each with a year where one can be found. It is handy if you work in sales, marketing or research and want a quick read on where a company shows up.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill, here a connection to the Event Presence Index service on Apify. Once it is connected, your AI can send a company domain to that service and bring the answer back into your chat. You do not run the search yourself, you just ask and the helper does the work.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like which events a company attends. Your AI passes the company domain to this helper, which sends it to the Event Presence Index service on Apify. That service searches public sources and returns the third party conferences and trade shows the company says it attends, with a year for each where one can be resolved. The helper hands the result back to your AI, which shows it to you in the chat. If the company runs its own conference, that is reported separately and never mixed into the attendance list.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List the conferences and trade shows a company says it attends
- See the year attached to each event where one can be found
- Check whether a company runs its own conference, reported separately
- Limit the years you care about, for example 2025 and 2026
- Force a fresh search instead of using the 21 day cached result
- See whether an empty result means the company publishes nothing or the search could not see
Try asking your AI
- “Which conferences and trade shows does 6sense.com say it attends?”
- “List the events Gong says it goes to, with the years”
- “Does this company run its own conference? The domain is acme.com”
- “Show me the events for stripe.com for 2025 and 2026 only”
What it gives back to you
You get a flat list of events, each with the event name and a year where one could be resolved. The company's own conference, if any, comes back as a separate field. Alongside the list you also see a coverage note, a fetch status and a count of failed searches, so you can tell an honest empty result from a search that could not see. Events dated outside the years you asked for are still returned and flagged, so check the year on each row.
Before you start
What you need
- An Apify account with an API token (a kind of password for apps; you get one free from the Apify console)
- Apify credits, since each run is charged per company analyzed plus a small start fee
- Node.js installed on your computer if you run the command yourself
Good to know
It only finds events for roughly 2 companies in 10, and each run spends Apify credits, so treat an empty result as an honest empty result rather than proof the company attends nothing.
