Universal MCP Toolkit
by Markgatcha
Connect your AI to many apps at once, like GitHub, Slack, Notion, and databases, through one setup.

Universal MCP Toolkit is a collection of ready-made helpers that let your AI talk to lots of different apps and services. Instead of setting up each connection one by one, you pick the ones you want and it writes the setup for you. It is handy if you use an AI assistant for work and want it to reach your real tools, not just chat.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This toolkit is a bundle of those helpers, covering things like GitHub, Slack, Notion, and databases, all managed from one place. So when you ask your AI to look something up or do something in one of those apps, it uses the right helper to go do it.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI what you want, like checking a pull request or reading a Notion page. Your AI picks the matching helper from this toolkit. That helper talks to the app or service for you, using a key or password you set up once. Then the answer comes back and shows up in your chat. You can also pick which helpers you want and the toolkit writes the setup file for your AI app.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Pick which apps your AI can reach, from a list of over 25
- Generate a ready-to-paste setup file for Claude Desktop or Cursor
- Run a helper on your own computer to test it
- Check that your keys and setup are correct before you start
- Search for a specific tool across all the helpers by name
- Chain two helpers together so one result feeds the next
- Connect to apps like GitHub, Slack, Notion, Postgres, and Stripe
Try asking your AI
- “Set up the GitHub and Slack helpers for my Claude Desktop”
- “List all the servers I can connect to”
- “Check my environment for the GitHub helper and tell me what is missing”
- “Search all helpers for anything related to files”
What it gives back to you
You get plain answers in your chat, like a list of pull requests, a summary of a Notion page, or the result of a search. It can also show you a setup file you can copy and paste into your AI app. When you ask it to check your setup, it tells you which keys are missing or which parts are ready. Everything appears as normal text you can read and act on.
Before you start
What you need
- Node.js 18 or newer installed on your computer
- An account and an access key for each app you want to connect, like a GitHub token or a Slack bot token
- An AI app that supports MCP, such as Claude Desktop or Cursor
Good to know
Some helpers can change or delete things in your apps, like editing files or posting messages, so only connect the apps you trust your AI to act in and check your keys are kept private.
Install it with your AI
Add Universal MCP Toolkit to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Universal MCP Toolkit, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
Office workers and teams who use an AI assistant daily and want it to reach their real work tools like GitHub, Slack, Notion, and databases without technical setup.
