by remoet-labs

Let your AI search tech jobs, find companies by their real tech stack, and track your applications on Remoet.

Remoet is a job platform for developers. This MCP server connects your AI assistant to Remoet so it can search open jobs, find companies that hire for the technologies you use, and keep track of what you saved. It is handy if you are job hunting in tech and want your AI to do the searching and sorting for you.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Remoet, the job platform. Once it is connected, your AI can look up jobs and companies on Remoet and do things there for you when you ask.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like which companies hire for Rails and React. Your AI sends that request to this helper, and the helper talks to Remoet. Remoet looks through its public job board and its company tech stacks, then sends back a list. Your AI shows you the matches in the chat, and you can ask it to star the ones you like so their new jobs show up in your feed.

What you can do with it

  • Search every open job on the Remoet board
  • Find companies by the tech stack they actually hire for
  • Star companies so their new jobs land in your feed
  • Read your feed of new roles, daily picks, and platform posts
  • View and update your developer profile
  • Track the jobs you saved and your applications
  • Check your account limits and usage

Try asking your AI

  • “I work in Rails, React, and Postgres. Which companies on Remoet hire for that stack?”
  • “Show me the newest remote backend jobs on Remoet from the last week.”
  • “Star these three companies for me so I see their new jobs.”
  • “What landed in my Remoet feed since yesterday?”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in plain chat: lists of jobs with titles, companies, and links, or lists of companies with the technologies they hire for. It can also show your saved jobs, your profile details, and a summary of your account limits. When you ask it to star a company or update your profile, it tells you what it changed.

Before you start

What you need

  • A free Remoet account (sign up at remoet.dev/onboarding)
  • A free API key from Remoet (a kind of password for apps; the site gives you one for free)
  • An MCP-compatible AI client like Claude, Cursor, VS Code, or Windsurf

Good to know

Starring companies and updating your profile change your Remoet account, so check what your AI is about to do before you say yes.

Install it with your AI
