ToolTrace MCP server
by ToolTrace-io · official
Lets your AI read any web page: pull the text, links, metadata, SEO checks and tech details for you.

ToolTrace is a helper that lets your AI look at web pages for you. You give it a link, and it brings back the page's text, links, and other useful details. It is handy if you work with websites, write content, or check how a site is built.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to ToolTrace, a web page reading service. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI about a web page and it will go fetch the details for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about a web page, like what it says or what links are on it. Your AI passes that request to this helper. The helper talks to the ToolTrace service, which visits the page and reads it. The results come back to your AI, and your AI explains them to you in the chat. You never have to open the page yourself.

What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat, written in plain words. Depending on what you asked, that could be the page's text, a list of links, a summary of its metadata, or a short report with scores and tips. For SEO audits you get a scored list of checks with recommendations.
