Webvizio MCP server
by Webvizio · official
Lets your AI pull website feedback and bug reports from Webvizio and turn them into coding tasks.

This is a small helper that connects your AI coding tool to Webvizio, a service where people leave visual feedback and bug reports on websites. Once it is connected, your AI can read those reports and work on them. It is handy for developers and small teams who get feedback from clients or testers and want their AI to fix things faster.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This one connects your AI to Webvizio, so it can look up your projects, tasks and bug reports there. When you ask your AI about a task, it quietly asks this helper, and the helper fetches the details from Webvizio for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to show your Webvizio tasks or to work on a specific one. The AI uses this helper to talk to Webvizio and pull back the task list, the task description, and an AI prompt written for that task. If the task is a bug, the helper can also fetch the screenshot, the console logs, the network logs, the error logs, and the steps the user took. Your AI then uses all of that to understand and fix the problem. When you are happy, you can ask the AI to mark the task as done in Webvizio.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List all your Webvizio projects
- Show the open tasks assigned to you
- Read the description and AI prompt for a task
- Fetch the screenshot attached to a bug report
- Pull the console, network, error and action logs for a task
- Switch between Webvizio projects
- Mark a task as done in Webvizio
Try asking your AI
- “Show me all my open Webvizio tasks”
- “Open the Webvizio task from this link and tell me what needs fixing”
- “Get the screenshot and console logs for the latest bug report”
- “Close that Webvizio task, it is fixed”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers in your chat: a list of projects or tasks, the text of a task description, or an AI prompt you can act on. For bugs, it can also bring back the screenshot and the technical logs as text. When you ask it to close a task, it tells you the task was updated in Webvizio.
Before you start
What you need
- A Webvizio account
- An API key from your Webvizio AI settings page (a kind of password for apps; Webvizio gives you one for free)
- Node.js 18 or newer installed on your computer
- An AI client that supports MCP, like Cursor or Windsurf
Good to know
It can change things in your Webvizio account, like marking tasks as done, so check before you tell your AI to close anything.
Install it with your AI
