Roundtable AI MCP server

by askbudi

Lets your AI assistant hand tasks to other AI helpers like Gemini, Claude, Codex and Cursor, all from one prompt.

Roundtable AI is a helper that lets one AI assistant ask other AI assistants for help. Instead of you copying text between different AI chats, you write one request and Roundtable sends parts of it to the other AI tools you already have. It is handy for developers and anyone who uses several AI coding assistants and wants them to work together.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to something else. This one connects your AI to other AI tools on your computer, like Gemini, Claude, Codex and Cursor, so your main assistant can hand them tasks and collect their answers for you.

What this MCP server does

You type one request in your AI assistant and say which helper should handle which part. Roundtable passes your request and the shared context to each helper in parallel. Each helper works on its part using the tools it has. Roundtable then gathers everything and gives your main assistant one combined answer. You get a single reply instead of several separate ones.

What you can do with it

  • Send one part of a problem to Gemini and another part to Claude in the same request
  • Have several AI helpers work at the same time instead of one after another
  • Share the same project context with every helper so nobody starts from scratch
  • Ask one helper to look at frontend code while another checks the backend
  • Combine findings from different helpers into one summary
  • Use the AI tools and subscriptions you already have, with no extra fee from Roundtable

Try asking your AI

  • “Use Gemini to analyze the frontend performance issues in the React components, and use Codex to check the backend API for slow database queries. Then combine the findings.”
  • “Use Claude to review the error logs and suggest a fix, and use Cursor to search the codebase for similar problems.”
  • “Use Codex to rewrite this SQL query with proper joins and suggest indexes, and use Gemini to fix the N+1 query problem in the Node.js code.”
  • “Ask all available helpers to review this pull request and give me one combined list of concerns.”

What it gives back to you

You get one combined answer in your chat. It usually contains the main points each helper found, a short summary, and suggested fixes or next steps. Sometimes it includes code snippets or lists of files to look at. Everything appears as normal text in your assistant's reply.

Before you start

What you need

  • Python installed on your computer
  • At least one AI command line tool installed and signed in, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI
  • An MCP-compatible app or editor, such as Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or Claude Desktop

Good to know

Roundtable runs the AI command line tools on your computer, so it can read files and run commands in your project just like those tools can when you use them yourself.

Install it with your AI

Add Roundtable AI MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Roundtable AI MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
