This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Russian bailiff enforcement records (FSSP). You give it a name and birth date, or a company tax number, and it looks up open enforcement proceedings for you. It is handy for lawyers, bankers, compliance teams and anyone doing a background check on a Russian counterparty.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, in this case a connection to Russian bailiff records. Once it is connected, your AI can ask this helper to look up enforcement proceedings and then explain the results to you in the chat. You do not need to visit the FSSP website yourself or solve any captcha.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like check if this person has any bailiff debts. The AI passes your request to this helper, which talks to a paid data provider that mirrors the public FSSP database. The provider sends back a list of open enforcement proceedings, with amounts, statuses, the bailiff handling the case and the reason for the debt. What it gives back to you
You get back a list of open enforcement proceedings, each with the amount owed, the current status, the bailiff and department handling it, and the reason for the debt. If you ask about one specific proceeding, you get a fuller card for just that case. The AI usually turns this into a short readable summary or a table right in the chat. If nothing is found, it simply tells you there are no open proceedings.

What you need
- Python 3.10 or newer installed on your computer
- An API key from one data provider: Damia, Checko, NewDB or api-cloud (each site gives you a key after signup, and most offer a small free trial)
- The Claude desktop app or Cursor, or another app that supports MCP servers
Good to know
The results are for reference only and do not replace official FSSP documents, so always confirm with the debtor or through official channels before making a legally significant decision like refusing credit.
