Lets your AI look up, add, and update records in your Method CRM account for you.
This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Method CRM, the place where your customer and sales records live. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain English to find customers, add items, or upload a file, and it will do it in Method for you. It is handy for anyone who spends part of their day copying information in and out of Method CRM.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This one connects your AI to Method CRM, so when you ask a question about your customers or records, the AI can go and look things up there. You do not need to understand how it works under the hood. You just ask, and the AI uses this helper to talk to Method.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like "show me active customers" or "add a new inventory item". The AI sends that request to this helper program. The helper talks to Method CRM using your API key, which is like a special password for apps. Method sends the answer back, and the helper hands it to your AI. Your AI then shows you the result in the chat, as a list, a table, or a short summary.

What it gives back to you
You get back whatever you asked for: lists of records, single records, counts, or confirmation that something was created, updated, or deleted. For example, if you ask for active customers, you will see a table or list with their names and details. If you upload a file, you will get a message saying it was uploaded and linked. If something goes wrong, you get a clear error message with a suggestion.
Before you start
What you need
- A Method CRM account with API access
- An API key from your Method CRM dashboard (Settings, then API Settings)
- Python 3.10 or higher installed on your computer
- The Claude desktop app or another MCP-compatible AI client
Good to know
This server can create, update, and delete records and files in your Method CRM account, so be careful when you ask it to change or remove things.
