This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to a set of language tools built at Charles University in Prague. It lets your AI find personal information inside texts, replace it with placeholders, correct Czech writing, and translate between several languages. It is useful if you handle contracts, invoices, reports or any document full of real people's details and want help cleaning it up before sharing.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only talk based on what it already knows. This MCP server adds extra skills to it. Think of it as a bridge between your chatbot and outside services such as LINDAT, where university-built programs live. When you connect this server, your AI sends questions through it to those services, gets results back, and shows them to you right in the conversation.
What this MCP server does
When you give your AI some text, the AI passes it along to this server. The server then calls public research services from Charles University in Prague. Those services scan the text, spot names, addresses, phone numbers, tax IDs and similar items, mark them clearly, or rewrite them into fake stand-ins. You see everything summarised in your normal chat window. Some actions happen fully locally instead, meaning nothing leaves your computer.

What it gives back to you
Depending on what you asked, you might receive a cleaned version of your original text with hidden parts turned into neutral tags, a simple table listing detected entities grouped by category, grammar notes per word, readability scores, corrected prose, or translated output. Everything arrives directly in the same chat message style you normally use, ready to skim or forward.
