Geopolitical Risk MCP server

by cct15

Lets your AI look up daily conflict risk probabilities for six regions, plus political and disaster events.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “What is the escalation risk for Russia-Ukraine?”, the Geopolitical Risk MCP server connects it to Risk Intelligence feed, and you get back risk numbers and a short summary.

This is a small helper that gives your AI access to a daily feed of geopolitical risk numbers. It covers six conflict regions like Russia-Ukraine and China-Taiwan, and lists political, economic and natural disaster events with probability estimates. It is handy if you follow world events for work, or if you want your AI to give you numbers instead of just headlines.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to the Futuristic Risk Intelligence data feed, which publishes daily risk probabilities for major conflicts. Once it is connected, your AI can look up those numbers and events for you whenever you ask.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI a question about a conflict or a world event. The AI uses this helper to fetch the latest data from the Futuristic Risk Intelligence feed. The helper returns risk probabilities for escalation, ceasefire and regime change over 1 day, 7 days and 30 days, plus a list of political, economic and natural disaster events. Your AI then reads that data and explains it back to you in the chat. The data updates once a day, so what you see is roughly a day behind the very latest news.

What you can do with it

  • Check escalation risk for Russia-Ukraine, Iran-Israel/US, Israel-Palestine, China-Taiwan, India-Pakistan or US-Latin America
  • Compare 1-day, 7-day and 30-day probabilities for the same conflict
  • See how a probability has changed compared to seven days ago
  • List high-impact political, economic and natural disaster events with probability estimates
  • Filter events by category or by whether they are marked as high importance
  • Read a short daily situation briefing for each conflict

Try asking your AI

  • “What is the current escalation risk for Russia-Ukraine over the next 30 days?”
  • “Which conflicts have seen the biggest change in risk compared to a week ago?”
  • “Show me the high-importance political events with a deadline this month.”
  • “What is the ceasefire probability for Israel-Palestine right now?”

What it gives back to you

You get numbers and short summaries in the chat. For each conflict you can see the risk level, the probabilities for 1 day, 7 days and 30 days, and how much they moved since a week ago. For events you get a short description, the category, the probability and any deadline. The AI usually turns this into a few sentences or a small list so it is easy to read.
