HyperStore MCP server
by deficlow
Lets your AI search a catalog of over 6,500 AI apps and return details, alternatives, and comparisons.

HyperStore is a big online directory of more than 6,500 AI applications, put together by a company called HyperGPT. This MCP server connects that directory to your AI assistant, so you can ask for AI tools in plain words and get real answers back. It is handy if you keep hearing about new AI apps and want a quick, organized way to find the right one for a task.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one extra skill, like a new plug it can use when needed. This one plugs your AI into the HyperStore catalog, so when you ask about AI apps, your AI can look them up there instead of guessing. You do not need to understand how it works under the hood. You just ask, and the helper fetches the answer.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like find me a free tool that summarizes PDFs. Your AI passes that request to this helper, which searches the HyperStore catalog. The helper sends back matching apps with details like features, pricing, and screenshots. Your AI then writes a short answer for you in the chat, often with a few options to pick from. You can also ask it to compare apps or show alternatives to one you already use.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search AI apps by keyword or by meaning
- Get full details on a single app, including pricing and features
- Browse apps by category, like image generation or writing
- Find alternatives to an app you already use
- List the best AI tools for a type of person, like lawyers or developers
- Look up AI tools for a specific task, like reviewing contracts
- See trending apps and top categories
Try asking your AI
- “Find me a free AI tool that summarises PDFs”
- “Compare ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini side by side”
- “Show me the top 5 image-generation apps with an API”
- “What are good AI tools for lawyers?”
What it gives back to you
You get back a short written answer in your chat, usually with a list of apps and a line or two about each. If you ask for details on one app, you get its features, pricing, and sometimes screenshots. If you ask for a comparison, you get the apps lined up side by side. Everything is read from the HyperStore directory, so it stays current with what is listed there.
