SEO Authority MCP server
Lets your AI check SEO authority scores, find keyword ideas, spot competitor gaps, and audit pages for you.

This is a helper that gives your AI assistant a set of SEO skills. It can look up how strong a website looks in search terms, suggest keywords, compare you against other sites, and check pages for common SEO issues. It is handy for marketers, content writers, and small business owners who want quick SEO answers without learning a whole new tool.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to an SEO service called seo.forgemesh.io. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI SEO questions in plain words and it will fetch real answers from that service for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like how strong a domain looks or what keywords might be worth targeting. The AI passes your request to this helper. The helper talks to the seo.forgemesh.io service, which uses open Common Crawl graph data for authority scores and runs its own checks for the rest. The service sends back numbers, lists, or a written brief, and your AI shows it to you in the chat. Some of these lookups cost a small amount of money per call, paid in a digital currency called USDC.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Check the authority score of a domain
- Compare authority across up to 20 domains at once
- Score a page for common on-page SEO issues
- Get keyword ideas and long-tail query variants
- Find content gaps against competitors you supply
- Generate a content brief with evidence tags
- Audit a site across several pages
- Find places to add internal links
Try asking your AI
- “What is the authority score for example.com?”
- “Compare the authority of these five sites: a.com, b.com, c.com, d.com, e.com”
- “Give me keyword opportunities around the topic of home coffee grinders”
- “Audit my site myblog.com for SEO problems”
- “Find internal link opportunities on my article about beginner running shoes”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers in the chat: numbers for authority scores, ranked lists of keywords, a written brief, or a list of issues found on a page. Some tools return structured summaries you can read right away or copy into a document. For paid tools, if payment is not set up, you get back the price, the network, and instructions on how to retry instead of a result.
Before you start
What you need
- Node.js installed on your computer (the free software that runs npx)
- The Claude desktop app or another AI app that supports MCP servers
- A small amount of USDC in a dedicated low-balance wallet if you want automatic payments (otherwise you only get price quotes)
Good to know
Paid tools spend real USDC from the wallet you give them, so use a dedicated low-balance wallet and set a low payment ceiling.
