Let your AI search Chinese sites like Taobao, Zhihu, Weibo, Bilibili and Douban for you.
This is a small helper program that lets your AI search and read Chinese websites that normally block robots. It runs on your own computer and keeps your logins local. It is handy if you often look things up on Taobao, Zhihu, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, Douban or Dianping.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Chinese platforms like Taobao, Zhihu and Weibo, so it can look things up there when you ask. You install it once on your computer, and then your AI can use it in the chat.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like search Taobao for a kids study desk. Your AI passes that request to this helper program on your computer. The helper talks to the platform, using your own saved login where needed. Then it hands the results back to your AI, which shows them to you in the chat. For some sites like JD or Xiaohongshu, it opens your local Chrome to keep the login working.

What it gives back to you
You get back lists and short summaries in the chat, like product names with prices and shops, note titles with authors and likes, or post text with comments. It can also show details for one item, video or shop when you ask. Everything appears as normal text in your conversation, not as files.
Before you start
What you need
- Python installed on your computer (the README uses pip to install)
- A local Chrome browser for platforms like JD, Xiaohongshu and Douyin
- A free account on the platform you want to search, so you can log in when asked
Good to know
It uses your saved logins to reach these platforms, so keep your cookie files private, and avoid heavy bulk scraping because it may break platform rules.
