Easypanel MCP server

by helbertparanhos

Lets your AI manage your Easypanel server: deploy apps, read logs, change settings, all by asking in plain words.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Deploy my app and tell me when it finishes”, the Easypanel MCP server connects it to Easypanel, and you get back answers in your chat.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to Easypanel, the control panel that runs your apps on a server. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI to deploy, check logs, or change settings instead of clicking around the Easypanel dashboard. It is handy if you run your own server and use Claude or Cursor to get things done.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to your Easypanel panel, so it can look things up and do things there for you when you ask. You stay in charge: it asks for confirmation before anything risky.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like "deploy my app" or "why is my service down". The AI uses this helper, which talks to your Easypanel panel behind the scenes. Easypanel does the work, like starting a deploy or fetching logs. The helper sends the result back, and your AI explains it to you in the chat. For anything that could break something, it stops and asks you to confirm first.

What you can do with it

  • Deploy a service from GitHub or a Docker image
  • Read live logs and build logs to find errors
  • Add or change environment variables without wiping the others
  • Set memory and CPU limits for a service
  • Add a domain, port, or storage volume
  • Check disk usage and clean up old Docker images
  • Run a command inside a running container

Try asking your AI

  • “Deploy my app and tell me when it finishes”
  • “Why is my service down? Show me the last errors”
  • “Add DATABASE_URL to the staging environment”
  • “My disk is almost full, what can I clean up?”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in the chat: lists of projects and services, log lines, error messages, resource numbers, and short summaries of what changed. When it performs an action like a deploy or a restart, it tells you what it did and whether it worked. Destructive actions come back blocked until you confirm them.

Before you start

What you need

  • An Easypanel instance that is running and reachable
  • An API token from Easypanel (Settings, then API, then Generate Token)
  • Node.js 18 or newer
  • Claude Code, Cursor, or the Claude desktop app

Good to know

It can change or delete things on your server, including stopping services and rebooting the machine, so keep the confirmation step on and consider read-only mode for a production panel.

Install it with your AI

Add Easypanel MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Easypanel MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
