MisakaNet MCP server
by Ikalus1988
Your AI can search real debugging lessons from past engineering sessions so it stops repeating the same mistakes.

MisakaNet is a searchable collection of debugging lessons written by real engineers. When your AI hits an error, it can look through these lessons and apply a fix that someone already figured out. It is handy for anyone who works with code, servers, or technical tools and is tired of solving the same problem twice.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to MisakaNet, a library of debugging lessons. Once connected, your AI can search that library and bring back a fix when you run into a problem.
What this MCP server does
You describe an error or a problem to your AI. The AI sends your words to MisakaNet through this helper. MisakaNet searches its collection of lessons using keyword matching, not meaning matching, so it looks for the same words you used. If it finds a lesson that fits, it hands the steps back to your AI. If nothing matches, it tells your AI honestly that it does not know this one yet and offers to record it for next time.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search debugging lessons by describing an error message
- Get step-by-step fixes that other engineers already verified
- See how proven a lesson is, from a rough note to a production-tested fix
- Submit a new lesson when your AI hits a dead end
- Browse lessons by topic like Docker, Windows, CI, or networking
- Vote on whether a lesson actually helped you
Try asking your AI
- “I keep getting a pip timeout behind my company proxy, is there a lesson for that?”
- “Search MisakaNet for GitHub 401 errors after rotating a token”
- “My SQLite database is failing on an NTFS mount, any known fix?”
- “Look up FANUC error codes in MisakaNet”
What it gives back to you
You get back a lesson or a short list of lessons that match your words. Each one usually includes the problem, the fix steps, and a grade showing how well proven it is. If nothing matches, you get a clear no-match answer instead of a made-up fix. Everything shows up right in your chat, so you can read it and try the steps.
Before you start
What you need
- Node.js 18 or newer for the installer, or Python 3.10 or newer for the local server
- An MCP-capable assistant like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex
Good to know
The search only matches words, not meaning, so a problem described in unusual wording may come back with no result even if a lesson exists.
Install it with your AI
Add MisakaNet MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check MisakaNet MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
Developers, DevOps engineers, and anyone who debugs software and wants their AI to remember what went wrong before.
