InstantClips is a service that takes an online shop product and makes a short vertical video ad for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories. This MCP server connects your AI assistant to your InstantClips account, so you can ask for that video in plain words instead of clicking through the website. It is handy if you sell on Shopify, run a dropshipping store, or handle social media for several brands at once.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to InstantClips, so when you ask for a video ad, the AI can go and set it up in your InstantClips account for you. You stay in the chat, and the work happens in InstantClips.

What this MCP server does

You paste a product link into your AI chat and ask for a video ad. The AI passes that link to InstantClips, which reads the product page: the photos, the price and the details. InstantClips then writes a plan for the video and shows it to you as text in the chat, before anything is generated. You can read the plan, ask for changes, and only when you say go does it make the actual video. Then you get back a finished vertical video file and a share link.

What it gives back to you

You get text back in the chat: the plan for the video, written out so you can read and change it. When the video is finished, you get the video file and a public share link you can post or send to someone. If you ask about your brands or products, you get a list of them. The chat also tells you what to do next at each step.

A product page with photos, or product photos on your computer
