ReadyStack Compliance Linters

by jmshinhwa

Check your files against EU and other rules like CRA, DORA, NIS2, PCI DSS and WCAG, with the line and the fix.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Check my deploy.yaml for removed Kubernetes APIs”, on your own computer the ReadyStack Compliance Linters works with readyStack checkers, and you get back list of problems and fixes.

ReadyStack is a set of small checkers that look at your files and point out where they break a rule. The rules cover things like EU regulations, deadlines, accessibility and payment security. It is handy if you write code, configs or documents and someone else expects them to follow these rules.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to the ReadyStack checkers, so it can look at a file or a piece of text and tell you which rules it breaks. You ask in plain words, and the AI uses this helper behind the scenes.

What this MCP server does

You paste some text or point your AI at a file. Your AI sends it to a ReadyStack checker through this helper. The checker compares it against rules that ship inside the package, so nothing goes over the internet. It comes back with each problem, the line it is on, and a suggested fix. Your AI shows you that list in the chat.

What you can do with it

  • Check a file for rule breaks and get the line and the fix
  • Check pasted text without installing anything
  • Search the available checkers by regulation, deadline or file type
  • Run one checker on a whole folder (needs a licence key)
  • Use it as a command in your build pipeline (needs a licence key)
  • See which rules apply to your platform, like Kubernetes or GitHub Actions

Try asking your AI

  • “Check my deploy.yaml for Kubernetes APIs that were removed”
  • “Does my SECURITY.md follow the EU Cyber Resilience Act reporting clock”
  • “Look at this HTML form and tell me which WCAG 2.2 AA rules it breaks”
  • “Find the lines in this Dockerfile that use a base image that no longer gets security patches”

What it gives back to you

You get a list of findings. Each one names the file, the line number and a suggested fix. Sometimes it also names the rule or the date that matters. Your AI shows this as a short report in the chat, and you can ask it to explain any item.

Before you start

What you need

  • The Claude desktop app, Cursor, or another app that supports MCP servers
  • Nothing else for the free checks (text and single files)
  • A licence key from getreadystack.com only if you want to check a whole folder or use it in your build pipeline

Good to know

It only reads the files or text you give it, so nothing is changed or deleted, but the folder sweep and the build-pipeline use need a paid licence key.

Install it with your AI

Add ReadyStack Compliance Linters to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check ReadyStack Compliance Linters, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
