AgentSeal MCP server
by JoeyBrar
Your AI can log every action it takes into a tamper-proof record you can check later.

AgentSeal is a service that keeps a record of what your AI assistant did, in a way that cannot be quietly changed afterwards. This MCP server connects your AI to AgentSeal so it can write those records and look them up for you. It is handy if you need to show a client, a manager, or an auditor that your AI really did what it claimed.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to AgentSeal, a logging service. Once it is set up, your AI can write entries into your AgentSeal log and read them back when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to note down something it just did, like sending an email or changing a file. The AI passes that note to this helper program. The helper sends it to AgentSeal, which stores it in a chain where each entry is tied to the one before it. Later you can ask your AI to look up past entries or to check that nothing in the chain was altered. The AI replies in the chat with the entries or with a simple yes or no about the chain.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Record an action your AI took, with a short reason why
- Note who or what approved an action
- Look up past actions for one agent or one type of action
- Check whether the log has been tampered with
- Keep a separate trail per agent by using an agent name
- Recall earlier decisions when you ask about them
What it gives back to you
When you record an action, you get back a sequence number and a hash, which is a long code that confirms the entry was added to the chain. When you look up actions, you get a list of entries with their details. When you verify the chain, you get the number of entries checked and whether the chain is intact. All of this shows up as text in your chat.
Before you start
What you need
- A free AgentSeal account from agentseal.io
- An AgentSeal API key (a kind of password for apps; the site gives you one after you sign up)
- The Claude desktop app or another app that supports MCP servers
- Node.js installed on your computer, since the server runs with npx
Good to know
Anything you record is sent to AgentSeal and stored there, so avoid logging private details like passwords or personal data you would not want kept.
Install it with your AI
Add AgentSeal MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check AgentSeal MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who need to show that their AI assistant acted as promised, such as freelancers, consultants, and teams handling client work or compliance.
