k402 MCP server

by Kali123411

Pay a tiny amount of Kaspa per use and your AI can summarize, read web pages, search, and check the Kaspa chain.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Summarize this article for me: https://kaspa.org”, the k402 MCP server connects it to k402 gateway, and you get back A plain answer in your chat.

This is a helper that lets your AI use a set of small online services, like summarizing text, reading a web page, or looking up Kaspa blockchain data. You pay a few cents or less per use, in Kaspa, from a prepaid balance. It is handy if you want your AI to do these jobs without signing up for accounts or handing over a credit card.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to a catalog of pay-per-call services, so when you ask it to summarize a page or check a Kaspa balance, it can actually go and do that for you. You do not need to be technical to use it, but you do need to fund a small deposit address once.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI for something, like summarizing a long article or checking a Kaspa wallet balance. Your AI passes that request to this helper. The helper talks to the k402 gateway, which runs the service and charges a tiny amount from your prepaid balance. The result comes back into your chat as text, numbers, or a short answer. If your balance is empty, the helper tells you exactly how to top it up instead of just failing.

What you can do with it

  • Summarize a piece of text or a web page
  • Pull structured details out of messy text, like names and dates
  • Classify or rewrite text in a different tone
  • Read a web page and give you the main points
  • Search through your own saved notes using meaning, not just keywords
  • Check live Kaspa blockchain data like balances, fees, and transaction status
  • Ask a larger AI model to write or reason through something for you

Try asking your AI

  • “Summarize this article for me: https://kaspa.org”
  • “Read this web page and list the three main points”
  • “What is the current Kaspa network fee estimate?”
  • “Classify this customer email as complaint, question, or praise”

What it gives back to you

You get back plain answers in the chat: a summary, a list of extracted details, a classification label, a rewritten paragraph, or numbers like a wallet balance or fee estimate. For web reading, it gives you the main content of the page in a readable form. If a payment is needed, it returns clear instructions on how to pay instead of an error.

Before you start

What you need

  • A Claude or other AI app that supports MCP servers
  • A small amount of Kaspa (KAS) to fund your deposit address, at least 0.25 KAS
  • A Kaspa wallet or exchange account to send KAS from

Good to know

This spends real Kaspa from your prepaid balance, so keep the balance small and check the catalog price before using paid tools.
