Flow diagram: you ask your AI “How much stock do I have left for my top seller?”, the Amazon Seller MCP server connects it to Amazon Seller account, and you get back A clear answer in the chat.

This is a helper for people who sell on Amazon and want their AI assistant to look at their Seller Central numbers for them. Once it is connected, you can ask plain questions about your stock, orders and fees, and get answers back in the chat. It is handy if you run an Amazon shop and do not want to click through lots of reports.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot see your Amazon seller account. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, here a connection to Amazon Seller Central through Amazon's own seller system. So when you ask about your stock or your fees, the AI passes the question to this helper, and the helper fetches the real numbers for you.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something about your Amazon shop, like how much stock you have left or what your fees would be on a product. The AI sends that request to this helper program. The helper signs in to Amazon's seller system using the keys you set up, and pulls the information you asked for. Then the AI turns it into a normal answer in the chat, with the numbers and a short explanation. It can also work out restock suggestions and profit estimates based on what it finds.

What you can do with it

  • Check how much FBA inventory you have
  • Look up your recent orders and what was in them
  • Get details about a product by its ASIN
  • Calculate the FBA fees for a product at a given price
  • Estimate your profit margin on a sale
  • Get suggestions for how much to restock
  • See how fast a product is selling

Try asking your AI

  • “How much inventory do I have left for my top selling ASIN?”
  • “Show me my orders from the last two weeks.”
  • “What would the FBA fees be for ASIN B08XYZ123 at a price of 29.99?”
  • “Should I restock this product, and how many units?”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in the chat, not raw files. That usually means a short list or a small table of numbers, like inventory counts, recent orders, fee breakdowns or a profit figure. For restock questions it gives you a suggested quantity with a short reason. Everything stays in the conversation so you can ask follow up questions.
