den AEC Knowledge server
by odd-Innocent · official
Ask your AI about Korean building codes, standards and construction practice, with sources.

den is a helper that gives your AI access to Korean architecture, engineering and construction knowledge. It covers the KDS and KCS standards, KS standards, and building laws, plus practical know-how in structure, construction, services, materials and planning. It is handy if you work in design, construction or site management and often need to check a clause or a number.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to den, a curated knowledge base of Korean AEC codes and practice. So when you ask about a standard or a requirement, your AI can look it up in den and answer with sources instead of guessing.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about a Korean building standard, a term, or a construction step. Your AI sends that question to the den helper. The helper looks through its loaded data of KDS, KCS, KS and building statutes. It sends back the relevant clauses, numbers, definitions or steps, each marked with where it came from. Your AI then shows you that answer in the chat, in plain words.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Find values and clauses from Korean building codes and statutes, with sources
- Get the definition of a single AEC term
- Explain why a requirement or phenomenon exists, with causal paths
- Build a work sequence ordered by what comes before what
- Compare two construction methods or concepts
- List the kinds or components of a concept
- Check which statutory requirements apply to a floor plan description
- Convert a place name or coordinates into climate and jurisdiction conditions
Try asking your AI
- “What is the minimum thickness for a concrete wall under KDS?”
- “Define the term '내화구조' in Korean building law.”
- “Why is curing needed after concrete pouring?”
- “Compare the two methods of waterproofing for a basement.”
- “What are the steps to build a reinforced concrete column, in order?”
What it gives back to you
You get back answers in the chat: clauses, numbers, definitions, lists, steps or comparisons. Each value or requirement is marked with its source, and the source is labelled as a Korean norm, a foreign reference, or den's own analysis. If your question is outside what den covers, the answer will say so instead of making something up.

Good to know
Answers are not legal or design advice, coverage is partial, and revised standards may take time to appear, so always check the cited clause yourself before relying on it.
