SERPdive MCP server
by serpdive · official
Lets your AI search the web and read the actual page content instead of just getting links.

SERPdive is a web search service built for AI. When you connect this MCP server, your AI can search the web and get back the real text of the best pages, already cleaned up and trimmed to fit. It is handy for anyone who wants their AI to answer questions with fresh information from the internet.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to SERPdive, a web search service. Once it is connected, your AI can search the web and read page content for you whenever you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question that needs current information. Your AI uses this helper to send your search to SERPdive. SERPdive finds the best matching pages and pulls out the useful text from each one, cleaned and shortened. It sends that text back to your AI, along with each page's web address, title and date. Your AI then reads it and writes you an answer in the chat.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search the web in any language and get page content, not just links
- Get the title, web address and date for each page found
- Ask for a specific number of results, from 1 to 10
- Choose a lighter or deeper search depending on how much detail you need
- Have your AI answer questions using fresh information from the web
- Use it for free with the unlimited krill tier under fair use
Try asking your AI
- “What are the latest changes to the EU AI Act and when do they take effect?”
- “Find recent reviews of the Framework 13 laptop and summarize what people say”
- “Search for news about the new Python release and tell me what changed”
- “Look up how to set up a Raspberry Pi as a home server and give me the steps”
What it gives back to you
You get an answer written by your AI, based on the pages it just read. Behind the scenes it receives a list of results, each with a web address, a title, sometimes a date, and the extracted page text. In the chat you usually just see the finished answer, sometimes with links to the pages it used.
Before you start
What you need
- A free SERPdive API key from serpdive.com/dashboard/keys (no card needed)
- An app that supports MCP, like Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor
- For the local option: Node.js installed on your computer
Good to know
Searches on the paid models use credits from your account, so keep an eye on your usage if you switch away from the free krill tier.
Install it with your AI

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check SERPdive MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
