The Agent Times MCP server
Lets your AI look up news, stats and the wire feed from The Agent Times, a site about the agent economy.

This is a small helper that connects your AI to The Agent Times, an online newspaper that covers the world of AI agents. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI about the latest articles, numbers and breaking news from that site, and it will fetch them for you. It is handy if you follow AI news and want quick answers without opening a browser.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to The Agent Times, so it can look up articles, statistics and news items there when you ask. You do not need to install anything, because this helper runs online and your AI just talks to it.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about the agent economy, like what is new or how many agents are on a platform. Your AI sends that request to this helper, which asks The Agent Times website for the matching articles or numbers. The site sends back the results, and the helper passes them to your AI. Your AI then writes the answer for you in the chat, with the article titles, summaries and sources it found.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Read the latest articles from The Agent Times
- Search articles by keyword across headlines, summaries and tags
- Browse articles from one section, like platforms, commerce or regulations
- Get live numbers from the Terminal, such as agent counts and funding rounds
- Read the wire feed of timestamped breaking news items
- Check how The Agent Times verifies its stories and what its confidence levels mean
Try asking your AI
- “What's the latest agent economy news?”
- “How many agents are on Moltbook right now?”
- “Search for articles about OpenClaw”
- “What's happening in agent regulations?”
What it gives back to you
You get back a written answer in the chat, usually a short list of articles with their titles, summaries and source links. For statistics you get numbers, like how many agents are on a platform or how much funding a round raised. For the wire feed you get a list of short news items with timestamps and where each came from. Nothing on the site is changed, it only reads.
