Clarity MCP server
by thehealthai
Lets your AI check ingredients, supplements and health claims against conditions like pregnancy or allergies, with sources.

Clarity is a helper you connect to your AI so it can look up whether an ingredient, supplement or product is a good idea for a specific health situation. It is handy for anyone who reads labels, takes supplements, or writes about wellness and wants a quick, sourced answer instead of a guess. You do not install anything. You just point your AI at a web address.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. Clarity is that helper, and it connects your AI to a health ingredient checker. So when you ask about a supplement or a label, your AI can go and look it up for you instead of making something up.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question, like whether magnesium is fine during pregnancy. Your AI sends that question to Clarity, which checks its curated health data. Clarity sends back a verdict, a confidence tier, and a citation when one exists. Your AI then explains the answer to you in plain words, and can hand you a link to the Clarity page for that exact result. It can also check a whole stack of supplements at once, look up a barcode, or fact-check a health claim.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Check a single ingredient against a condition like pregnancy or allergy
- Audit a whole supplement stack and see interactions between items
- Look up a product by its barcode and check for FDA recalls
- Fact-check a health claim you read somewhere
- Find safer alternatives to a flagged product
- Look up a cannabis or mushroom strain with safety flags
- Score a food, skincare or supplement product by barcode
Try asking your AI
- “Is magnesium safe during pregnancy?”
- “Audit my stack: iron, calcium, magnesium and zinc for pregnancy and interactions.”
- “Scan this barcode 0123456789012 and flag anything for histamine.”
- “Is it true that collagen helps with rosacea?”
What it gives back to you
You get back a short answer in your chat: a verdict, a confidence tier like Gold or Silver, and a citation when one is available. For stacks you get a per-item verdict plus any interactions found between them. For barcodes you get the product, flagged ingredients and any FDA recall. Every result also includes a link to a live Clarity page for that exact answer.

Good to know
This is descriptive information, not medical advice, and a missing flag does not mean something is safe, so check with a real doctor before acting on it.
Install it with your AI
Add Clarity MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
