RegIntel MCP server
by ad0750
Look up regulations and compliance rules across 41 countries right inside your AI chat.

This is a helper that connects your AI to a big library of regulations from around the world. You can ask plain questions about rules in different countries and get answers with sources. It is handy for people in legal, compliance, risk, or finance roles who need quick answers without digging through government websites.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to RegIntel, a service that holds structured regulatory data. Once it is set up, your AI can look things up in RegIntel for you when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about regulations, like whether an activity is allowed in a certain country. Your AI sends that question to this helper, which talks to the RegIntel service. RegIntel searches its catalog of over 200 regulations across 41 jurisdictions and sends back the matching records. Your AI then shows you the answer in the chat, often with citations to the source. Some tools also let you check recent updates or look at specific obligation lists.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List all supported jurisdictions and how many regulations each has
- Search regulations by country, keyword, tag, or category
- Fetch the full details of one regulation, including obligations and penalties
- Check whether an activity is allowed, restricted, or prohibited in a country
- See which regulations were added or changed since a certain date
- Look up Australian climate-disclosure obligations by tier and year
Try asking your AI
- “Is crypto trading allowed in Australia?”
- “Show me recent GDPR updates since January 2025.”
- “What are the penalties under MiCA for unauthorized stablecoin issuance?”
- “List the jurisdictions covered by the regintel server.”
What it gives back to you
You get back structured answers in the chat, like lists of jurisdictions, regulation records with obligations and penalties, or a simple decision such as allowed or prohibited. Some replies include source links so you can check the original text. Recent-updates queries return a list of regulations with dates. The AI usually summarizes the result in a few sentences for you.
