Lets your AI book, quote, and reschedule field-service jobs using live technician availability.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Book a 2-hour HVAC job tomorrow for Marie Tremblay”, the Crisphive MCP server connects it to Crisphive, and you get back your booked slot.

Crisphive is a scheduling system for field-service businesses like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and cleaning companies. This MCP server connects your AI assistant to a Crisphive account so it can look up customers, check who is free, and book or move jobs for you. It is handy if you run or coordinate a service business and spend a lot of your day juggling appointments.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This one connects your AI to Crisphive, the scheduling system your business uses. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI to book a job or check a technician's day, and it will actually do that inside Crisphive for you.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like "book a 2-hour HVAC job tomorrow for Marie Tremblay." The AI sends that request to this helper. The helper talks to Crisphive, which checks real technician availability and works out a plan. You get back the booked slot, or a clear answer that no slot fits. Nothing is guessed by the AI; the scheduling decisions come from Crisphive's own engine.

What you can do with it

  • Book a job for a customer at a time that actually fits your technicians
  • Get a quote for a job before confirming it
  • See which technicians are free, nearby, or have the right skills
  • Move an existing appointment and preview who it affects
  • Insert an emergency job and see what gets rescheduled
  • Re-staff a technician's whole day when they call in sick
  • Look up or update customer details
  • Check a technician's schedule for a given day

Try asking your AI

  • “Schedule a 2-hour HVAC job at 145 Laurier Ave W tomorrow for Marie Tremblay, 613-555-0142.”
  • “Emergency plumbing job now at 99 Bank St for David Okafor, 613-555-0198. Show me what gets rescheduled.”
  • “Outline my day tomorrow and flag anything at risk.”
  • “Dmitri called in sick for tomorrow. Re-staff his jobs without moving any customer's appointment.”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in the chat: a booked slot, a quote with the time and technician, a list of jobs, or a preview of what would change before anything is committed. For emergency or sick-call situations, you first see a preview, then you confirm and the changes are applied. Customer and technician lookups come back as simple lists or single records.

Before you start

What you need

  • A Crisphive business account
  • An API key from your Crisphive dashboard (Developers, then API keys). A sandbox key starting with chsk_test_ is enough to try things out.
  • An AI app that supports MCP servers, like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Gemini CLI

Good to know

It can create, move, and reschedule real jobs and customer records, so use a sandbox key (chsk_test_) while you are learning, and check previews before committing changes.
