DigiSign MCP server
by davidsimoes
Lets your AI create, send, and track digital signature envelopes in DigiSign.cz for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to DigiSign.cz, a service for sending documents out for digital signatures. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain words to prepare a signing envelope, attach a PDF, add the signers, and send it. It is handy for anyone who sends contracts or forms for signature and would rather not click through the DigiSign website each time.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a little helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app, and here that app is DigiSign.cz. When you ask your AI something like "send this contract to Anna for signature", the AI passes the request to this helper, and the helper talks to DigiSign for you. You stay in the chat and get the result back there.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to do something with signatures, for example create a new envelope or check who has signed. The AI uses this helper, which logs in to DigiSign.cz with your API keys and performs the action there. For a new envelope, the helper can create the draft, upload your PDF, add the recipients, and place the signature tags on the pages. When you are ready, it sends the envelope, and DigiSign emails the signers. You can also ask it to list envelopes, check statuses, or get a download link for a signed document.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List your envelopes and filter them by status or page
- Create a new draft envelope and attach a PDF or DOCX
- Add signers, approvers, or CC recipients to an envelope
- Place signature tags on a document, either at a placeholder or exact coordinates
- Send an envelope so DigiSign emails everyone who needs to sign
- Check who has signed and who has not
- Get a temporary download link for a signed document
- Check your account credits, plan, and usage
Try asking your AI
- “Show me all envelopes still waiting for signatures”
- “Create a new envelope called Office lease 2025 and attach the PDF at ~/Documents/lease.pdf”
- “Add Anna Novakova as a signer and place a signature tag where the document says {sign_client}”
- “Send the lease envelope and tell me when everyone has signed”
- “Give me a download link for the signed copy of the lease”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat, not files on your computer. For a list request, the AI shows you the envelopes with their status, dates, and recipients. For a new envelope, it tells you the envelope was created and gives you its ID. For a download request, it hands you a temporary link you can click to open the signed document.
Before you start
What you need
- A DigiSign.cz account with API access
- An API key pair from DigiSign (an access key and a secret key, found under Settings > Pro vyvojare > API klice)
- Node.js 18 or newer installed on your computer
- Claude Code or another MCP-compatible client
Good to know
The write tools can send, cancel, or delete envelopes, and sending emails real people, so the README suggests adding send, cancel, delete, and discard to your deny list so your AI asks you first.
Install it with your AI
Add DigiSign MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check DigiSign MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who regularly send contracts, forms, or agreements out for signature and want to prepare and track them from their AI chat instead of the DigiSign website.
