Aesthete Agent MCP server

by docsor1212

Lets your AI pick colors for websites and apps that are readable, color-blind safe, and not generic AI purple.

Aesthete Agent is a helper that checks and builds color schemes for websites and apps. It was made because AI tools tend to pick the same purple and indigo colors, and they cannot actually see the colors they choose. It is handy if you build or review pages and want colors that look intentional and stay readable.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one gives your AI a color expert: a library of 117 curated palettes plus a set of checks. When you ask for colors, your AI passes the request to this helper, and the helper does the measuring and hands back an answer.

What this MCP server does

You tell your AI what you are building, for example a pediatric clinic page or a shop checkout. The AI sends that to this helper, which searches its library of curated palettes and ranks the best matches for your kind of project. Then it measures the colors: how readable the text is against the background, whether color-blind people can tell the colors apart, and whether the scheme looks like generic AI output. You get back a palette with a pass or fail verdict, and you can ask for ready-to-use color codes for your project.

What you can do with it

  • Find palettes that fit a described project or mood
  • Check whether text and background colors are readable enough
  • Test a palette the way color-blind people would see it
  • Generate a set of colors that stay distinct for color-blind viewers
  • Flag color schemes that look like generic AI output
  • Export colors as CSS, Tailwind, or design token files
  • Preview a palette in realistic screen mockups

Try asking your AI

  • “Find me six color palettes for a calm pediatric clinic website”
  • “Check this palette for readability problems: 264653, 2A9D8F, E9C46A, F4A261, E76F51”
  • “Give me eight chart colors that color-blind people can tell apart”
  • “Turn this palette into CSS variables for my site”

What it gives back to you

You get back lists of palettes with short notes, numbers for contrast and readability, and a clear pass or fail verdict for the whole scheme. It can also return ready-to-paste color code files, like CSS or Tailwind, and image previews of the palette in real screen layouts. Everything shows up as text or files in your chat, so you can copy what you need.

Before you start

What you need

  • Python installed on your computer (the tool runs with uvx, which fetches it for you)
  • An MCP-capable app like Claude Desktop or Cursor
  • No account or key needed

Good to know

It only suggests and checks colors, so nothing in your files or accounts gets changed, but always give the returned colors a quick look in your real page before shipping.

Install it with your AI

Add Aesthete Agent MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Aesthete Agent MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,361 MCP servers here for you.
